Prior to starting Goodman Callahan Blackstone PLLC, David was the founding attorney of its predecessor - Callahan Witherington PLLC. Preceding his ventures in his own practice, Mr. Callahan was an associate with the large regional law firm of Adams and Reese. During his time with Adams and Reese, David was responsible for all probate and probate related litigation in the Nashville office.
While working for Adams and Reese, David obtained his Masters of Taxation from the University of Alabama. This degree provided David with the opportunity to evolve his practice into one that encapsulated all connected matters including complex estate planning. David earned his law degree from Nashville School of Law where he was the recipient of the Moot Court Award. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama, where he graduated cum laude.
